Then, watch a cooking demonstration at New Orleans Cooking school. Learn to make Louisiana favorites with recipes, locally brewed beer, refreshments, and enough food for lunch. What To Expect
The tour includes approximately 6-7 food and beverage tastings. We will visit some of the establishments recommended in numerous cookbooks and stroll through the streets of the French Quarter visiting interesting food venues that are not just eateries.
The cooking demonstration takes place at the New Orleans School of cooking, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere with enough food for lunch (see sample menu below and note menus vary by the day.) Hosts and guides are knowledgeable with enthusiastic energy.
Optional and own expense: cocktails at well-known uptown Bed and Breakfast on the Avenue overlooking the gorgeous oaks and the St. Charles street car line, followed by relaxed dining and enjoyment at your choice of Bayona, Galatoire's, Commander’s Palace, or one of many other restaurants. (Our concierge service will arrange transportation service if needed.)
